Winter fun

Alpine skiers and snowboarders have the choice amongst 28 lifts, from baby-lift to cable car transport. On 40 kilometres of ski-runs, all kinds of levels turn winter sports into an experience for everyone. All lifts can be used with the ski-pass Oberstaufen (from 2 days on). Snow making machines at Thalkirchdorf and the Skiarena in Steibis guarantee snow all through the winter.

A 60-kilometre-long, cleared winter hiking path network with marvellous views of the Allgäu mountain scenery or a romantic horse-sleigh ride offer guests with fewer sporting ambitions unforgettable winter experiences. And at the end of an eventful winter day, our local gastronomy or the adventure swimming pool Aquaria are awaiting you.
